Over the years I’ve lived in Delhi, I’ve had many foreign friends come visiting. Most want to confine themselves to Indian food. Some—staying long—begin to yearn for familiar foods, and familiar names. Here are some reviews of the Delhi outlets of a few well-known chains.

Delhi starts getting hot in April, and remains hot till at least October, with some dips in temperature now and then, during the monsoon. Except in deepest winter, it’s never too cold for ice cream. Some places for ice cream in Delhi – indigenous, and exotic.

Vasant Kunj, one of the southernmost neighbourhoods in Delhi—and fairly close to the airport—is home to a trio of plush malls: Emporio, Promenade, and Ambience. We usually visit them only to shop; but whenever we do, we end up eating at one of the many restaurants here.
