This is the inteninary:

Estacao do Valongo
Rua Jose Ricardo (ramal alternativo)
Rua Tuiuti
Praca Barao do Rio Branco
Rua Visconde do Rio Branco
Rua Augusto Severo

Each trip via the trolleys is accompanied by two municipal guards from the city of Santos and an additional one at each stop. The presence of the guards are not simply for security but for dealing with any emergencies tourists might have.
On weekends, the tour lasts about two hours and is closed on Mondays for scheduled maintenances. Basically mormings are dedicated for tourism and between the hours of 3 to 5 pm, the fare is but .50 Real(US$.25cents), for conventional service.
Even if you're near Praca Maua only in the afternoon, it is well worth the trip.
