To familiarize yourself with Jose Bonifacio de Andrada e Silva, one must think back to their own history founders, like Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison and George Washington of USA. Without Andrada in Brazil's past, the outcome for the country would certainly been different. Among his accomplishments and Brazil's, is a document entitled "Lembrancas e Apontamentos do Governo Provisorio de Sao Paulo". His document created the process of a new nation.
Another of his papers in 1823, supporting the end of slavery in Brazil, led to legalization ending slavery in Brazil. Years later with his grandson's continued support, slavery was abolished in 1888.
