Of use: If you have a Six Flags season pass from any of their parks in North America, admission is free.
This place should be renamed the Vomiterium. It's awful. Don't waste your time here.

In July and August there is an international fireworks competition which takes place in the evenings 2-3 times a week. The best vantage point is from the island (La Ronde) or from the bridge over the island which is blocked to traffic for this occasion. Get there early and take a blanket to sit on. This is generally better than the works at Disneyworld.

The French team really won me over with their fine music that played a huge part in coordinating with the fireworks and creating in it what may be felt as remnants of life. Indeed, such an amazing piece of work can only be attributed to their age old love for music, art and all things beautiful.

My first effort at getting to this activity coincided with Canada's fireworks team, so it was extra special as we all waited anxiously to see what creativity our nation's team was capable of!
Words cannot accurately describe exactly what the fireworks were like, so please see the pictures for yourself! I overhead that Spain and Taiwan were crowd favourites while USA was a major "judge pleaser" with her show of colours and vibrant music accompaniment.
