The ITC Maurya Sheraton is located in the diplomatic enclave in New Delhi. You will start to feel welcomed since the very beginning upon your arrival. One of the things that I liked the most was the work of art of the ceiling in the lobby representing the history of India. Whatever you can think of, they will make an effort to fulfill your every need. A great touch, the Ayurveda amenities available in your room, and something very special, in your night table, you will find a book stating all the reasons why a person should have a good and repairing night sleep, it was a shock for a person that doesn't sleep too much.
Staying at this hotel was quite an experience. Not only for having a great infrastructure and wonderful service, but because we could really feel what was a caring staff when one of our group members had a minor accident and everyone helped us go through the panic process in the most caring and efficient way I have ever seen. Try their restaurant, say thanks to Vish at the door—a blast of a guy that will make you laugh till the end of your trip; and say hi to the reception guys, and have a nice conversation with their concierge. Count on them as your support group, and don't forget to pamper yourself at the Health Club and the Spa. No words can ever say how a group of people can turn an unfortunate event into an opportunity to enjoy the surroundings and even meet new friends. Great example of hospitality.
