We are definitely coming back. Great value for your money! Downfalls of this trip: It was their off-season so one of the restuarants was closed for renovations and the others ones kept closing early with no notification, which was really annoying especially when you've been out all day and come back starving. Also, they no longer have room service. It's the only hotel on the island that doesn't have crystal clear water due to seaweed (for lack of a better term# and it's the last resort northbound. The water was usually clearer in the morning to afternoon. That really makes no difference to us though because we travel the island and visit plenty of other beautiful beaches. Pros: They gave us a free upgrade on our room since they weren't busy. We stayed in the M experience, which included a mini frig stocked with free drinks #Spirit, Coke, Beer & Water#. They put on a different show every night. All bars are well stocked but if you want top self go to the Lobby bar. There are huge beach towels in your room so no need to pack them. Plus the rooms are very clean. When dinning be sure to ask for Elmer to be your server, best there is. #Example: my husband asked for steak sauce and he basically ran to retrieve it for him) Island tips: don't be afraid to venture away from the main square downtown, you usually find better deals, but be sure to scope out prices BEFORE you start buying. If you know your prices, less chance of getting ripped off. I recommend heading down Pedro Joaguin Coldwell Ave for those great little hole in the wall spots to eat. For the adventurous type, I recommend renting a scooter for the day and driving around the coast of the island. There is only one main road so it's impossible to get lost and the scooters are cheap and cost about $3 to fill the tank which will last you all day. If you want AWESOME fresh seafood go to Alberto's, but if you're going in the evening wear bug spray because the tables are on the beach and the sand fleas can tear you up in a matter of minutes!
