To get to the indoor pool, you had to pass by a construction site outside, and then go into another building. There were no facilities to change clothes other than a bathroom.
The staff was friendly, and apologized for the construction.

We had a one bedroom unit on an upper floor(there is an elevator). In addition to the typical amenities that we have had in other timeshares, we liked that the Yachtsman offered two TVs. We were told that in 2003 VCRs would be added. There was also a spa in our room, which we enjoyed.
I believe all accommodations at this resort offer oceanfront views and, to us, that made this place one of the best. At night, not only did we have the sound of the ocean and the ocean breeze to gives a good night's sleep(no AC needed at night in September!), but the moon cast the most romantic light into our bedroom. It was made like a place you only read about or only see in a movie. The unit was very clean and the staff was constantly checking to see if we needed anything.
We would not hesitate to return to this timeshare; in fact,we would request it again!
