how safe is it for indian women to wear a bikini on beaches of havelock ??
does it invite unnecessary attention or gawking from locals or indian tourists ?
unpleasant comments , gawking , or being photographed slyly is something i really fear about.
genuine advice needed, no moral policing please.

I haven't been to the Andamans, but close relatives of mine have. From what I gather, it's pretty much like other Indian beaches (barring perhaps some beaches in Goa) - so a woman in a bikini is very likely to get gawked at. I'd suggest you stick with a one-piece suit.
