What was your best adventurous trip? I would really love to hear. Mine were travelling on the roof bus all the way from Manali to Ladak (India), a crazy trek I made when it was all snowy and my visit to amma's ashram in Kerala. And yours...? Can't wait to hear :)

Mine was riding a bicycle for the first time!!
I was riding it on the road leaving Patras (The main port town in Greece) so you can imagine how busy it was, full of huge loaded lorries enclosing me from all sides.
I was shaky, firstly because I hardly knew how to drive a bicycle and secondly because I was afraid from these terrifying trucks. Oh ye, I was shaking thanks to their motion as well as they were so big and I was obviously so small comparing to them. I know riding a bicycle is trivial, yet I must admit that for me it was a kind of initiation. The back of my bicycle was loaded with 30 kg, did I mention it? When the busy road finally ended nature took place and at last I could relax and enjoy my self, but then I went into a lovely forest and as I was driving completely enchanted by the visions, I bumped into a big stone, flew away from my bicycle, fell on my head and it started bleeding. I hitchhiked to the hospital and then I went back bandaged to the place where my bicycle were left and spent the night right there outside as I didn't have any money for a hostel. Ever since then I ride my bicycle up and down :)

That's a funny story :)
thanks.
Well, these are certainly moments worth remembering.
See that is exactly why I admire people "on the way".
There are always these shaping events, embarrassing as they may be, eventually these ones are the same ones that shape our memories.
Do you know what I mean?

Mine would have to be island hopping around Koh-Chang. Its the nature adventure that I had always dreamed of as a child.

Sort of torn on this one... The road trip to the Arctic Ocean with my dad was great. Filled with wild life, mountains, and tundra we spent three weeks exploring the "road" (their called highways but they are dirt and rock) less traveled.
Than there is the Baja. Followed the Baja 1000 race course with a collage buddy. We found solitude and beauty in a very harsh environment where everything fights to survive.

A few years I am living in Spain and my best adventures happened there! They have so many festivals during the year, for example Sitges carnival in February, Las Fallas in Valencia in March, other is the wine fight in Haro, Spain in June, running of the bulls in Pamplona in July and La Tomatina in August. These four are the most popular in Spain, and I would definitely recommend to participate in all of them. If you want to participate in them and don't spend a lot of money for hotels I would recommend you "Stoke Travel"(http://stoketravel.com). You can camp with them in all these festivals, they give you breakfast, BBQ in the evening and great time all the time, because every night we had parties. These festivals are the best adventures I have ever had and I didn't spend a lot of money.
