Description: This cogwheel mountain railway has been in service since 1912, taking passengers from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch – Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 11,300 ft. above sea level. At the Jungraujoch you’ll find a world of snow, rock, ice and more snow. The train travels 6 miles through tunnels hewn into the neighboring mountains, while stopping at Eigerwand and Eismeer stations where passengers can take in the surrounding vistas through panoramic windows.
