Those of us who have visited Halong Bay can reasonably argue this Northeastern corner of Vietnam bordering China is not simply a natural wonder on its own right , but perhaps one of the most beautiful places on Earth, acknowledged by UNESCO as World Heritage.

I got here as part of my honeymoon vacation. Ha Long Bay is so truly spectacular that it is hard to describe in mere words. It is eerie, romantic, exotic, calming, exciting, and many other characteristics, all at the same time. Can't understand it until you experience it yourself.

Halong Bay consists of 3000 odd islands rising from the Gulf of Tonkin. It is one of the natural marvels of Vietnam and a designated UNESCO World heritage site. Catba Island is the largest island in Halong Bay.
