It's not everyone's cup of tea, but Benalmadena and Torremolinos make a great destination for a few days in the sun to recharge your batteries. And there's plenty to do with the harbour offering restaurants galore!

The Costa del Sol has been an international tourist destination for the past 50 years. Today, the beaches, modern infrastructure and an incomparable climate put the province of Málaga top of Spain’s regions in terms of numbers of visitors. Here are some of the reasons why.

Two wonderful weeks on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. We visited Andalusia where the Moors ruled for 800 years. It is green, sunny, and filled with a sense of history. The people are respectful and friendly. This was a dream vacation that lived up my expectations, surpasing them really in every way. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Spain. We had a nice two-bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. Within walking distance to the ocean. Touristy, but just drive 10 minutes up into the hills, and you can find GREAT little mom-and-pop restaurants and shops!

In May, Costa del Sol is fantastic. The weather is great, the beach is beautiful, the people friendly, and the price is right. Along the beach, you can sit outside at the bars and restaurants and enjoy the area.

Club Algaida is a beautiful urbanisation with nicely landscaped gardens and a private entry to the beach. The resort is very clean, and the staff is welcoming.
