Workamping at the Meridian East Toomsuba, MS KOA we went in search of some local interest. Here are some of the things we found to do in a state not often heard about. Enjoy seeing old mills, yesteryear country stores and pretty river scenery, these are enjoyable side trips.

We drove to Meridian, Wiggins, Gulfport, and Biloxi MS. We wanted to visit the Jimmy Rodgers Museum in Meridian and Jefferson Davis' home in Biloxi. While we in the Biloxi area, we also visited a casino in Gulfport and played the slots.
