About Me: Hi everyone,

Hi, I'm Jan (Praskipark/Praski), artist, author, photograper and publisher. I live in Warsaw at the moment with my husband and close to my family. I have also lived in Portugal, France and UK. I have many books published on Amazon and I write for two national magazines in Poland, Business English and English Matters. A gallery of my photographs are being shown on the Information screens on the Warsaw Metro and buses.

Due to health reasons I haven't travelled as much as I would have liked this year although my trip to Milan was brilliant and I enjoyed visiting the Mazury Lake area of Poland. Hopefully, in 2014 I will travel more - I particularly want to see more of Denmark and its islands.

More About Praskipark

I travel because...
I like to escape. Mediterranean countries are probably my favourite destinations especially Italy. I love the warm climate, ambiance and the food. Having lived in Warsaw for over 7 years now I have got used to this part of central Europe and really enjoy visiting Polish towns and cities. They are packed with history and culture. Poland also has one of the most amazing coastlines with miles and miles of soft white sand. My other favourite destination is Croatia.
I love to travel to...
Portugal, France, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Bosnia, Serbia, Corsica and Sardinia.
I never forget to pack...
My Passport and my knickers seeing that I did once forget on a long journey and my son thought it was hilarious and went back to tell the whole of his class. He was only 5 at the time.
My weirdest travel habit is...
