Tularosa Winery was about 40 minutes away. The owners were very accommodating. We packed a picnic lunch, bought a chilled bottle of wine, and ate on the property.
History buffs should take a trip to Lincoln for the Billy The Kid exhibits. Best Things About the Resort: The view from the balcony was superb. Resort Experience: Compared to many other resorts we exchanged into, this was somewhat of a disappointment. We never thought to check about air conditioning. Daytime temperatures were in the 90s all week. Indoor pool and jacuzzi closes at 8:45pm weekdays. Our unit didn't have any chairs on the balcony, so we had to drag them from the kitchen table.
