Hacienda Uxmal has a website here.
They bill themselves as a place where royalty has stayed, which I can believe given how few hotel choices there are in the area. The rooms were very nice sized, with a nice big bathroom with a jacuzzi (which we didn't get a chance to use). The rooms weren't five star, US-style luxurious, but they were nice given how far off the beaten path you feel in this area of Mexico.
The Hacienda's pool and pool area were very nice, and we swam some, although it was barely too cool for swimming when we were there (in the evenings, in January - it probably would have been OK during the day, but we were doing other things). There was a rather unpleasant sewer odor hanging around much of the hotel grounds, but not really noticeable inside our room, thankfully.
The also have a billiards room (rent balls for $2/hour or so to use the table) where the kids and I played around one evening.
The staff wasn't particularly great. A couple of the clerks and waiters were pretty nice, but a couple others were a little unfriendly.
They had a 10% discount for AAA members when we booked.
It was hard to know if the hotel was a good value or not. On one hand, we're in the boonies of Mexico where you wouldn't expect things to be particularly expensive, and on the other hand, we're in the boonies of Mexico where it was nice to have a pretty nice hotel to stay at.
