The Kempinski Airport is a 4 *- hotel and is right on at the airport. This makes it very easy to reach with car because you just follow the signs to the airport. The only problem is that you have to pay for parking. It costs 25 euros per day which I think is a lot of money. I would recommend to take public transport to the airport. There are good connections to the town.

We stayed here for the weekend because we wanted to see a football game in town and thought it was a great way to visit the town itself also. The hotel is near a restaurant and the Charles Lindbergh conference center. When you walk in you will see the reception straight away and here you will always find information about departures and arrivals. The reception is quiet large and there are two desks where you can also rent a car. I noticed that there were also toilets in the back.

When we checked in we went to our room and we received two cards to open the door with. Very handy in case you lost one. There are different rooms available and we had the superior room which is just slightly larger than the standard room and the bed is a King size bed. We opened the room and at your left you will see the luggage rack, wardrobe, mini bar and a table with the television. There is a desk, a floor lamp and a chair. On the left you will see the large bed with night stand on both sides. The bed was very large and looked very comfortable and luckily it was! The mattress was good and not to soft and the pillow were quiet big. The mini bar was well stocked with the usual drinks and chips. The prices are also the usual, 0.3 l Weihenstephaner Pilsner, for example, cost € 4.10.

When you walk into the room left is the bathroom. Here we saw a bath/shower combination, a sink with mirror, hair dryer, the toilet and some toiletries. There were 2 bathrobes and slippers of the house. In the bathroom were small tubes of shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and hair conditioner. In addition, soap, nail file, shower cap and hygiene kit. The latter consisted of two cotton swabs and cotton pads. Everything was neatly packaged individually. There were also paper tissues.

The room price included buffet breakfast. It is a hotel with many guests from all over the world, so is the breakfast buffet is quiet extensive with sausage, beans, fried potatoes, small meat loaf, bacon, eggs as you wanted ... Salmon, shrimp, pickled herring, pickled herring were also found. Then there were various meats, cheeses, fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers ... many breads and rolls, about 10 varieties of fresh fruit juices, including the normal orange, grapefruit, apple and tomato, but also something like strawberry-rhubarb-lemon, pineapple and coconut-banana, kiwi, passion fruit and mango ... Similarly large selection of jams, pineapple, orange and kiwi was only a glimpse next 2 or 3 varieties of honey.
Muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt, etc. So really just more than enough!

The hotel had several facilities like a spa but we haven’t used this. I think it’s a wonderful hotel but the only problem for me was the distance to the city of Munich. You have a good connection but it will still costs you 45 minutes to get into the centre and then from here you need to travel to an attraction so you will spend lots of time traveling. For us wasn’t it a big problem because we were here mainly to see the football game and don’t do all the tourist attractions.

The hotel is extensive and for the weekend we spend over 300 euros which is quiet a lot but it’s a great 4 star hotel and I loved the breakfast. The staff is friendly but since we hadn’t had any troubles or complains, I don’t know how good they are with handling complains. They gave me a welcoming feeling and that’s important. I definitely recommend this hotel!

A Truly 4 - 5 star hotel worth considering. Very convenient to the Munich airport. Great service with super restaurants. This has been the only hotel where I'vve stayed where they had an in-room safe large enough to secure my laptop pc. Thank you.

We picked the Kempinski for it's convienence to the Air Port. We have stayed here before and the rooms are wonderful. The only complaint is that the bath tubs are terribly slick and dangerous to use. Take this as a precaution if you stay there. ...Read more

This hotel is a great place to stay if you're catching a flight into or out of Munich! The staff was helpful and friendly. I speak no German, and everyone at the hotel was very fluent in English. The masseuse was also wonderful.
