The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but a cold buffet breakfast is included in the price in the breakfast room. This was basically bread, cheese, cereals, choice of hot drinks and fruit juices, and yogurt. the hotel provided a large range of international newspapers, if you absolutely have to keep up with the news whilst away, and staff were very helpful and spoke good English (useful when your Italian is as non-existent as mine!) Overall, it felt luxurious without us really paying a luxurious price.
Best of all, it's all of two minutes from St Mark's Square, which proved to be absolutely perfect on the day we spent exploring San Marco, and surrounded by good restaurants.
