We upgraded to the Royal Club once we arrived and had a total blast! Highly recommend!
WARNING: NO BEACH & HORRIBLE!! Don't stay there!!!

Beautiful resort, good food, nice pools, clean and friendly staff!! You also get a private entrance from the resort to Xcaret. Its like a 5 minute walk from the resort to the entance of the park. Will definitely return!!

we had the best time at the occidental grand the staff were very good and the room and the grounds were extra clean. drinks at the bars were good . there was lots to do for everyone. the beach was good for kids .we will be back next year.

The late check in was rather frustrating after flying all evening and most of the morning. But the staff was very helpful and friendly all around.
