Description: Overall the resort was great. The resort is far from Cancun airport (about 2 hour transfer so beware). The good news is that it is far from Cancun that the cheapo folks who really can't afford coming to a place like this won't or can't afford the transfer to get here so you'll have less crowd. The accommodations were superb (get the Junior Suite, it is worth it because if you stay on the lower class rooms, the rooms are really far from all the action and I hear the size of the rooms are small so you'll just get diappointed). The food (I'm a foodie) was great except for Himitzu (their Asian Fusion place). Well, what do you expect.. Asian food in Mexico. Go figure. The Sushi place Gohan was spectacular, however, and I'm not even a sushi fan. The Pool was laid out great near the beach. Speaking of the beach, it is a bit rocky so I would beware. That's not the fault of the hotel or staff so I didn't blame them for that. Beware of mosquitos. I was prepared and brought my own Mosquito repellant with at least 15% DEET and I was fine. Other folks were not so prepared and brought nothing (ummmm why??) and they were eaten alive but if you are prepared, you'll be fine. Again, not the fault of the hotel. (I mean, you are in the tropics). Overall, my vacation was great, the staff was friendly and the food was good. GREAT VACATION!
