The resort was really quiet on most days for us, which was great. Our review would probably be considerably less favorable if the resort was fully booked during the whole week. When all considered, our gripes are relatively minor except for the kid?s club. Read on for the juicy details. Restaurants: Excellent quality, great choices. The 3 a la carte restaurants offer really good food and some offer a great experience like freshly made guacamole at your table. If you want a show, ask for a Mexican coffee at one of the two a la carte restaurants upstairs. You can get espresso-based coffees, various fresh juices and smoothies. For us, the restaurants were something to look forward to. Tip: ?La Pergola? does a la Carte breakfast, ask for the menus. You can?t reserve more than 3 a la Carte dinners at a time. Make sure you do because I suspect they will be all booked really quickly if the resort is busy. Our favorite was the Italian ?Amalfi? restaurant. Service: The staff were almost all very good, always trying to please. All smiles and some paid special attention to the kids. Service at the restaurants is mostly good but some servers are imprecise. Although almost everyone speaks English, a bit of Spanish helps. All try to accommodate you. Room: Our room was wonderful. We had the 2 bedrooms suite. It was big, clean and really useful with two boys. The only complaint is that we could hear noise from the corridor because the noise insulation of the door is really poor. We were lucky to not have neighbors until the last couple of days. If you want quiet, make sure to ask for room away from the main pool, it can get very noisy. Cleanliness: The resort is very clean and well maintained. The bathroom are all very clean and in good condition. Bars: Drinks are good but sometimes the wait was long. Plan for it. There is no service at the beach. Water: As always, do not drink water in the room. The water at the restaurants turned out OK for us. Also, we had to ask to have bottled water delivered in the room on most days. Make sure you do so that you have good drinking water in the room. Pools: The pools are OK but not huge. The resort was quiet for us so it was OK. However, if the resort is fully booked, it will most definitely feel crowded. There is no lifeguard on duty and no one really applies the rules. Plus, some of the staff do not always give a good example and were diving in the pool regardless of the interdiction. The water was a bit foggy but they were cleaned every morning. Activities: The activities are OK. The staff is really energetic and dedicated. We participated in some of the activities and they were fun. It is hard for us to judge because they only other place we did this was Club Med which is really good. So, they might be good but we still felt a bit underwhelmed. The one show we saw was bad. Kid?s club: the lady in charge is doing her best but the club was disappointing. They activities were repetitive and almost more suited for girls. The clown show was lame. My youngest son said after the performance with a very disappointed look: ?they were not funny?. Gym: It was clean, with multiple machines and weights. There is a small section for yoga, Pilates, stretching, etc. The ?courses? of yoga and pilates were sub-par. If you know your routine, better off doing it on your own. Bring a USB cable in the yoga room. The stereo accepts MP3 players with USB. Beach: it was well maintained, state run so no lifeguard. Clean. Crowd: during the week we were there, it mostly Mexicans, some Canadians, some Americans. Very family oriented. Weather: Apparently typical mid-June weather. It mostly sunny, wind in the afternoon, rain late afternoon (once for us) or nightly. Big waves that prevented sailing almost everyday. Close

One of the most memorable times of my life.The place is beautiful and so relaxing. There was a time I dident want to leave at all.The people are so welcoming and worm I recommend it to every one.
