1) Construction - You had to go through some random plaza parking lot, then a dirt road, then to the back of the hotel to a random room where the "lobby" was because they're under construction.
2) Parking Super Far Away - Because of the construction, there is not enough parking close by - maybe 10 or less spaces. You have to find a parking in the plaza next to it and then walk all the way to the back of the hotel. It does NOT feel safe at night.
3) Elevator wasn't working - None of the elevators were working. There was one that was semi-working but you had to call the front office every single time you needed to elevator - then they send one of the elevator workers to come and get you. In addition, they said that they would have them working the next day and that was not the case.
4) We got STUCK in the elevator - Yes. It's 100% true. We got stuck because someone pulled the power from the elevator since both elevators are connected. When they pulled the power from the other elevator, guess what, there was no power on our elevator. We were stuck for more than 10 minutes and my husband almost had a panic attack because he's been stuck in an elevator before. The elevator worker insisted that we pack the elevator because he didn't want to go up again so there was absolutely no moving space. There were 5 guests, including us two, the elevator worker and the laundry man with his huge cart full of dirty linens. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever experienced at a so called "hotel".
5) We asked to be moved to a lower floor - but the first floor was fully occupied by temporary offices & other rooms due to the construction, so they put us on the second floor. Mind you, I'm unable to take the stairs because I have severe anemia, so once again, we were forced to take the non-working elevator.
6) Our view was the construction - This hotel is called 'Lakefront'. They advertise that ALL rooms have a lakefront view. Not this room. This room had a little bit of lake and LOTS of the construction. So much that the people from the construction could easily look into our room. It was TOO much - we could no longer bare these "inconveniences" so we asked to either get our money back or be moved to a different hotel.
7) In addition, the room itself had very old furniture and didn't smell quite good. I had to buy clorox wipes & febreeze to actually make it smell like a decent place.
8) Once we asked to be moved, the manager was very nice and didn't even think twice on doing so. They had us moved to the hotel across the street in about two hours.

Basically - DO NOT stay in this hotel until the construction and remodeling is done. You'll regret it. Close

me and my husband really enjoyed our stay at the ramada hotel. the view was very nice. the service is great. the room was always clean and fresh. i recommend this hotel.

Although the service was fine we were expecting a pool only to find that they were under construction. Also the rooms were clean but the pillows extremely uncomfortable.

The room was not clean. There was toothpaste on the bathroom faucet, and the carpet seemed dirty. The room for the breakfast was very small. It was so crowded that we left without breakfast.
