Description: I took my girl to Atlanta to propose as an early Valentine's Day surprise. On February 10th we took our trip. The Renaissance Hotel was amazing, with a great balcony view of the downtown skyline, an extremely comfortable bed, and a helpful concierge with local restaurants.
The first night was the proposal. I had done my research and didn't need the concierge. We walked downtown, which was very enjoyable. We ate at the SunDial Restaurant on the 72nd floor of the Westin Hotel. I made reservations online, and it was very easy and straightforward. The restaurant rotates as you enjoy the meal. An unbelievable view is a great addition to the meal. It has become our favorite restaurant, and we visit every time we are in Atlanta.
The proposal was perfect. A nearby hotel was lit up with a diamond design of lights, and as she noticed and commented on it, I dropped to one knee with the surprise. It was the perfect setting and such a wonderful, memorable experience.
