The shower did not drain properly. There weren't enough towels in the rack. The TV was not working properly. The coffee and tea were not replaced. The staff fixed the problems but should not have to call for all the problems.

To be fair, I think the whole French Quarter may be overpriced, not just the Marriott. Regardless, there is much nickel and diming as so much is not included in the room cost. I attended for business and so was obligated to stay in the FQ and as is ...Read more

For four people the room and bathroom was way to small. The drinks in the lobby bar was very high. Other than that enjoyed the stay.

The Marriott is very nice and is a great location on Canal Street. Service was not good though. The front desk did not greet us upon check in and then proceeded to issue us the wrong room type. Other than the bar staff and the door man, no one on ...Read more

nice hotel, but the rooms are very small - you trip over your luggage. Breakfast buffet excellent, with cook-to-order omelettes. They are aggressive in enforcing no-smoking policy (I got caught, and fined!, when a visitor smoked in our room)
