Arc de Triomf BarcelonaWhen you say Arc de Triomf I normally would think about the city of Paris and not so much about Barcelona. But the city of Barcelona has his own Arc de Triomf and we decided to visit the building as we had read that it is quite impressive. I love the one in Paris so I was quite curious how this one would be.The Arc de Triomf has been built for the World Fair in 1888. It was the main entrance to the fair which was held in Parc de la Ciutadella. It was designed by Joseph Vilaseca I Casanovas and is located at the crossing of Passeig de Lluis Companys and Passeig de Sant Joan. Reaching it by public transport is very easy since there is a metro station right ...Read More

La Rambla Welcome to the street with full entertainment from flowers to animals you can almost find everything here. Funny enough is this street my least favourite part of the city due it’s very a tourist attraction and I don’t think it really resembles the people and the city itself. Having said that I think it’s worth to have a little wonder and be surprised by what you can find. La Rambla is actually a large street and starts all the way up Plaza Catalunya and goes all the way down to the port of Barcelona. You can actually find two metro stations along the street which are both on the green line. It’s large street which means you can find a lot of different activities here...Read More

The amazing but unfinished Sagrada FamiliaBy many called the true masterpiece of Gaudi, until today it’s still unfinished. I’m talking about the Sagrada Familia. Antoni Gaudi is a artist who truly puts his fingerprint all over the city of Barcelona within parks, apartments and much more. When you walk around the city you won’t even realise how much has been built by this amazing artist. Sagrada Familia is one of his masterpieces and is truly amazing. Everytime when I visit Barcelona I just have to watch this amazing building. It’s a building that is hard to miss since you can almost spot it from everywere in town. With a length of 90 metres you can imagine it’s hard to miss. Wh...Read More

The Magic Fountains BarcelonaBarcelona is a wonderful city for a weekend trip but the downside of weekend trips is that they can be very expensive. Before you known it you are spending lots of money on entrance fees and of course food and drinks. Barcelona proves to be one of those cities were you can actually enjoy some free activities. The magic fountains is one of them. The Magic Fountains is located near the Plaza Espanya. This square is located just on the outside of the city center but is easy to reach with public transport. From the airport the direct bus, called Aeroport bus, stops here as well as many other busses and you can find the metro station called Plaza Espanya....Read More

Me and my husband love to travel around and in every city do a various kind of activities to learn more around the surroundings and culture. That involves shopping, exploring the night life and do some cultural activities. The Picasso museum was on our list of one of the must do activities and i’m glad we did it.The museum is easy to reach and located near the city center in the Born area. The entrance price is eleven euros to enter which is a reasonable price i think. You can spend around one hour here at a reasonable pace trough the collections. You won’t find the masterpieces of Picasso at this museum but the paintings are certainly worth it. When you enter the museum you wi...Read More
