Really the only really fresh seafood we had on this trip. My daughter had the coconut shrip and I had the softshell crab sandwhich. both were outstanding. Their house made chips are season well and I think they put Old Bay on them. Yummy.

We were very unhappy with their fried shrimp basket. 6 little shrimp that were not fresh, in fact I don't know if it was fresh enough to use for bait.

The Island Cow

Restaurant | "Not worth waiting for"

Quote:
I heard so many good things about the Island Cow, thought it would be a sure thing. We waited 40 minutes on a slow night. Sign said "Live entertainment", but that must have meant the bugs were free. By the time they called us, my skin was crawling and then we sat OUTSIDE, not 5 feet from where we waited. Do yourself a favor and wait the extra 5 minutes for an inside place. I ordered the special "Grouper Oscar" $20. Would have been better if (1) wasn't swimming in watery "sauce" (2) I wasn't already grossed out by the flies trying to eat my food first. (3) the sides weren't from last week.
