During my visit to zoo it was a lovely experience to watch two lovely and strong creatures of nature sitting together making love. The leopards with beautiful patches on their golden skin were sitting with their heads joined together. The colurs of their beautiful skin were giving them a blended appearnace and it seemed difficult to make out from little distance whether they were one or two. It was like getting a message that in this world Almighty has graded the language of love the best one for communication among the humans as well as animals.

Whenever I visit some place, it is one of my prime interset to watch flora and fauna of that area, especially wildlife. That is why I chose to visit the Gopalpur zoo. I also met the vet of the zoo who was taking care of the health problems in the wild animals there. It was a joy watching little cubs, leopards, wild boars, deers, gorals, kakkars, loins and so many other birds and animals. In todays perspective when many wildlife species are heading towards the danger of extinction, zoos and aquarias are the places that are helping in the wildlife conservation. Although it may seem odd to keep animals in captivity but then there some species can be kept and bred safely to maintain the species in nature....Read More

It is one of my favourite activities to roam in the tea gardens whenever I visit the tea valley Palampur. As soon as I enter Palampur the fragrance of tea starts inviting me. I just take a refreshing bath and little food and then it is my first job to roam in the tea gardens. The small tea stalls on roadside besides the tea gardens are my places where I just sit down after the walk and enjoy sips of tea, especially Palampur tea. The fragrance of tea shrubs just soothes my mind and whenever I come back to my home, I often dream of that fragrance and flavour that keeps on inviting me to the beautiful Palam valley. At a local place known as "Kalu di Hatti" there is a tea factory where the tea leaves col...Read More

Joy restaurant, Palampur

Restaurant | "A Place for Total Vegetarian Food"

Quote:
The joy restaurant in Palampur brought a real joy to me and my friends. Although the decoration and lighting was not very good and it was dark inside, the espresso coffee that I had was great. On the menu joy special chaat was written which attracted attention so I ordered one for me. It was very cheap in price but taste was great. It contains bhaallas as well as papris in it with mix sweet sour flavoured curd and mint sauce. The chilling of the contents added more soothening touch to it. Another good thing about this restaurant was that it was totally vegetarian so no chances of contamination with non veg food existed which is ofcourse a nice place to have food for total veg people. Other foods wer...Read More

The light taste, unique fragrance and soothing flavour of Kangra tea just refreshes the mind and soul. May it be with milk in local style or just a black tea cup, the unique flavour is very pleasent. It may take few days to adapt to its taste but once adapted, it seems hard to sip the ordinary tea. This tea is available both in form of factory made product or home-made or as green tea. It is even more enjoyable to sip the tea while sitting besides the tea gardens to feel more natural.
