Seattle is one of the largest cities in the Great Northwest. It sits on the Puget Sound on one side and Lake Washington on the other and Mount Rainier as a backdrop. This bustling city has one of the most active ports in the country because of its proximity to Japan. It takes 3 days less to ship from anywhere on the west coast. Some of the highlights to see is Pikes Place the renowned fish market, The Space Needle and Seattle Center, Pioneer Square, The Water Front, Mt. Rainier, house boats on Lake Washington and much much more. Ride up the Space Needle and see the magnificent skyline of Seattle and if you are lucky and it is a clear day Mt. Rainier in the distance. Take a stroll to P...Read More

The Hampton Inn is centrally located in the heart of Seattle. Only steps away from the famous Space Needle and within walking distance to downtown and the fish market.Do not want to walk, take the monorail, only two blocks away at the Space Needle. The hotel provides free internet access, computers in the lobby with a printer, continental breakfast and even a breakfast to go. We lucked out an got a suite, the room is large with a king size bed, TV/cable, sofa, and a desk. The beds are very comforatble, you will have a great night sleep. We also had a view of the downtown area but no balcony. This hotel does have a fitness room put no pool. If you rent a car, the parking is FREE!!...Read More

See the city by land and water. You will climb aboard an amphibious vehicle operated by a nutty captain. He/she will quack your way around the city as the captain tells historical information playing funky music with his funky outfit. You will see all the major sights starting across from the Space Needle then to Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square (the coffee house in Frazier) Seattle’s waterfront, Safeco and Qwest Fields, the downtown shopping area then head out the funky Fremont then splash into Lake Union and see Seattle’s skyline and the famous house boats. On the lake is the boat used on the most Deadliest Catch and the houseboat used in Sleepless in Seattle. This is a fun way to see the city...Read More

Mt. Rainier is an active volcano only 1 hour outside the city of Seattle. This mountain has it all, meadows of wild flowers, cascading water falls, glaciers, hiking trails, rainforest and historic sites. Why are there no pictures of the summit???The summit is only visible 180 days out of the year. I picked the wrong day to visit Mt. Rainier; the guide told us it has been two weeks since he last saw the summit. I was very disappointed but on my last day in Seattle as I ascend up the Space Needle I finally saw it in all its glory. You can hike trails as long as 93 miles and as short as .7 miles. You will pass through major life-zones from forest to subapline meadows. Ther...Read More

Looks like something out of the Jetsons, it towers over 600 feet and can be seen from anywhere in Seattle. Built for the 1962 World's Fair still is a major attraction. Ascend up the glass elevator in seconds and have magnificant views of the city. There are two observatories, one outside and one inside. At the top you will see the skyline of the city including Safeco Field, the Olympic Mountains and Mt. Rainere, Puget Sound and the waterfront district, the lake area incuding Lake Victoria and Union and look straight down and see the Seattle Center. You can eat lunch and dinner at the top and the admission is free. At the bottom of the needle is a gift shop ranging from T-shirts to fine art. ...Read More
