Best Things Nearby:Jackson, Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake, and the Tetons of course!!!Best Things About the Resort:Large sites, proximity to sights, lots of woods -- you don't feel like you are right next to your neighbors.Resort Experience:Colter Bay was nice. It had good facilities and was close by to everything in Grand Teton National Park. The best part is that it's right on Jackson Lake so there is a beach area. The sites are a good size and we just had a little tent site. There are over 300 sites total. Campground Type: National Park Campsite Type: Tent ...Read More

Mad River is awesome! We did the Summer Classic 8 Mile trip! The guides are all great and really fun people. The base location is called the "Wedge" and is really cool looking. The trip itself is a blast...really an adrenaline rush! It was so hot out that August that the freezing river water felt great! In my opinion, Mad River is the way to go for rafting on the Snake River near Jackson!

Yellowstone is awesome! It's more than you'd ever expect it to be! Even though there are so many people who go there, you don't notice that much because it's so huge. We camped and saw the sights. Old Faithful, buffalo, elk, mammoth springs, tons of geothermal activity, boating, camping...it's all at Yellowstone. Have to see it to believe it.
