Anyone been to Antarctica??

It's been one of my dream destinations ever since I learnt about Antarctica in geography classes. It would be fascinating for soemone to share his/her experience of ACTUALLY being there and going about exploring the place. I guess you graduate from a traveler to an explorer once you have been to such an exotic destination. Hoping to hear about some exciting experiences.....
