Reykjavik Art Museum is located in three different buildings and Kjarvalsstaðir is one of them. Kjarvalsstaðir offers a permanent exhibition of key works by Johannes S. Kjarval, as well as changing exhibitions. In the building there is a restaurant and a shop as well. Kjarvalsstadir offers a great view of Miklatún.
All of the Reykjavik Art Museums buildings are located in and close around the downtown area of Reykjavik. I visited all of them and I give them all two thumbs up!
