Description: We rented mountain bikes for about $10 per bike per day at the Red Gate Tourist Office (near the main entrance for Cesky Krumlov Castle). We biked up behind the castle gardens, where there are dirt roads and beautiful scenery. It is a bit difficult to bike around the town, due to the pedestrian traffic on the narrow roads and significant cobblestones, but it can be done. We preferred exploring the woods up above the town. Ride up through the castle and bear left to ride along the dirt road that edges the garden - it will lead you out of the castle complex and into some lovely fields and woods.
