It was great to be able to ride (though walking was fun, too.) the approximately 1.5 km distance from my apartment to school in the morning. It meant that I could be the last one to take a shower in the morning and still make it to class on time, and also that I was the first one home. The beachfront promenade was great for biking, and I could ride all the way into the Center of town without riding on the street. From the promenade in El Palo and Pedregalejo, I rode down to Paseo del Parque's large sidewalks and pathways right to the center of town. It was a great means of transportation for shopping, getting cash (there is a Citibank in Málaga!) and seeing the sights.
