Description: Popular with sightseers who want a good panorama of Tokyo, or just a chance to stretch their legs, the Rainbow Bridge is one of our members’ favorite things to do in Tokyo. The 2,618 foot long suspension bridge spans the north part of Tokyo Bay, and gets its name from the colorful lamps that utilize solar energy throughout the day to charge up. The bridge is both automobile and pedestrian friendly, and has two different views of the city depending on which walkway you go on. Both have great views of the city, and the south side offers glimpses of
Mt. Fuji on a clear day.
