Description: Once used by the US Marine Corps for military exercises, this one-mile stretch of white coral sand on Culebra Island is a beach lover’s paradise. Relax on the powdery sand, or snorkel over the coral reef in the warm blue water. And if you get restless, there’s hiking trails throughout the tree-covered hills that frame the idyllic waterfront. The beach is reachable by a short shuttle bus from the ferry terminal, but be sure to pack your own refreshments, as provisions are hard to come by out here.
