Solvang and The Santa Ynez Valley offer a whole host of activites. Shopping, Wine Tasting and Eating in Solvang are main events with plenty of all of the above. Also, fun 4 man bicycles and Horse Trolley Rides. If you get bored doing that, visit a Winery and enjoy the scenery of the back roads. Take a bicycle tour aroung the valley. You can even arrange lunch along the way! Take a Glider trip at the Santa Ynez Airport and get a view of the valley seldom seen. Visit an Alpaca, Miniture Horse or Miniture Donkey Farm. Visit Ostriches. Hike in the Los Padres National Forest on Figaroa Mountain. Take a nature cruise on Lake Cachuma. Check out Nojoqui Falls. Pick your own blueberries or apples in season. Visit one of the museums and get up to date on the history of the area. Spend an evening at Theaterfest! Etc. Etc. Etc. Close
