La Anita Rainforest Ranch is an INCREDIBLE hotel - in fact, it is way more than a hotel!! We only stayed for 5 days but felt we were at home with Ana and Pablo in the town of Colonia Libertad. The food was absolutely incredible - we visited the orchards and gardens on the farm where most of it was grown!
We stayed in a rainforest cabin and just loved the open windows that let breezes in. Spent each morning relaxing on our private porch with fresh-brewed coffee while we watched the clouds drift past the volcanoes. This place truly is paradise!
On a tour of the town we got to go horseback riding, eat an amazing lunch at a family's home, and have a couple Imperials at the local bar! Ana and Pablo arranged a private tour for us at the zip-line canopy tour and volcano center where we got to take mud baths and relax in hot springs.
We did Monteverde and Tamarindo, but if we had to do it over would definitely spend our whole vacation at La Anita!!
