What a nice well informed staff greeted us, our room was fine and we soon found out what an excellent location we had as we started to explore the city from here. It is within walking distance of all the archaeological sites, shops and flea markets. Across the road was an excellent Greek rock nightclub and although we were double the age of the 18-23 year olds we all enjoyed the music. Greek young men there treated us like elderly aunts with style. Thanks boys for making us fit in. Greek rock'n roll is very distinctive like the language, it was all Greek to us but we had loads of fun.
The location of our hotel really made it for us but the staff had a special affinity with its guests. We felt welcome and nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was plentiful and in abundance and went on till 11am.
