We traded into this resort at the last minute and had not been here before. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 7th floor in the Vacation Club section. The suite was very large with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen area meant plenty of room for us, but the furniture was not comfortable and the beds were rock hard. Daily housekeeping was excellent and the maid very friendly and efficient, earning her a nice tip at the end of the week. The grounds were nice, and there are 4 pools, although the adults only pool was closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, the pool closest to our room started the week out a bit cloudy and by the end of the week, was turning green. We chose to walk the 200 or so yards to the activities pool, which was much nicer.
On site restaurants were so-so buffet food which was included if you went with the optional A.I., which was a daily choice. The food off the menu was pretty decent, but overpriced. There was work being done on some units in our building and, at one point, our room got smokey with a burning electrical smell. It took over 1/2 hour for maintenance to respond and figure out it was coming from the work area. We were given a day of A.I. for the inconvenience. All in all, I have to say we are used to much better from our exchanges.
