This hotel is a little off the beaten track and might be hard to find. We put the address in the cars navigation and found it. But it is ten minutes or so off I81 and round the back of a commercial area and down the end of a lane.
We got to the hotel late evening and were greeted by a pleasant young lady on the front desk. We took our stuff up to our room then I went back down to get coffee and snacks to se us through till morning.
I went downstairs and looked for the snack shop, but could not find it. I asked the woman on the desk where it was and she said they did not have one at this location. So I asked her where the food vending machines were and she explained they only had drinks vending machines. Pretty much every Hampton we have stayed in before had a Suite Shop to buy snacks and things, but this one did not. To not have vending either is poor. We ended up going hungry for the evening.
The room was fine, good size, with all the usual amenities. The breakfast was very good too.
When we got back to our room after breakfast our key cards no longer worked, so we had to go back downstairs to get them reprogrammed. An annoying little glitch to an otherwise ok stay.
