Sports Places in Singapore

I am visiting Singapore in May and I love sports. Does anyone know of any sports venues and merchants in Singapore?

There are lots of modern sports facilities depending on what you looking for. There are many sports shops in cosmopolitan Singapore too. In fact, the moment you land in Changi Airport, you can start shopping in the Changi airport shopping mall - and there is a new lifestyle sport shop that sells all kinds of well known brands of sporting good, and track shoes. Prices are better than downtown because you dont pay GST as tourists. Singapore is such a small island yet it has everything you will need or dream about - especially food :) Siingapore is now acknowledge as one of the best city for eating out. Fine dining in International restaurants or fast food, its all there. If you like to experience vibrant Asian culture you gotta visit Singapore. I know you are going to like Sg, I so enjoy your trip!

For the benefit of others who come across this post. If you like beach activities, head to the East Coast. You'll find a pretty sporty stretch at Mana Mana.
Plenty of sailing and windsurfing and kayaking even kite-boarding fun to be had there. There's various kinds of equipment for rent, so you won't be left wanting for activities.
Of course, those that rather lounge by the seaside, refreshments within reach, can also get their kicks here :)
