Description: This was our second time at Lobsterfest. If I had remembered what it was like last time I wouldn't have gone back. My expectations were a food fest of all things that are lobster. What I quickly remembered as we made our way through the festival is that each booth (restaurant) cooks the same menu: Lobster, boiled potatoes and corn on the cob. Very little variation, I saw one booth that had lobster rolls that was the extent of the creativity.
If you don't like crowds (I don't) and you don't like the menu, skip Lobsterfest. The lone band and the few booths that didn't have the standard fare did not make the festival a standout for us. If you are interested in a really original Key West Festival save your vacation time for Fantasy Fest or even the Hemingway Festival.
