Now to say a few words about Dive Aventuras and their operation. The head honcho seemed to be Alex and he’s the one we dove with on every dive (three of them). Alex kicked much butt. He and Martin took us through our theory and the pool work. All along they were very attentive and were remarkably concerned with our comfort with the gear and environment, making sure the whole way that we understood and were able to do the skills we needed to in the pool. After the pool, it was off to the reef. The reef is maybe five minutes away. We were given some final instruction, put on our masks, etc, and over the side we went. Alex and Diego positioned themselves in front and behind our little group and kept a very close eye on us to make sure we were all doing fine. The bottom line is they were very attentive, very concerned about our comfort and safety.
I’ve not seen a lot of dive operations in motion but I know that not for a moment did I feel like they were pre-occupied or not paying attention to us. We were very impressed with the entire crew. After our initial dive, we signed up to go on a couple more a couple of days later. It was such a wonderful experience and Alex and crew did everything they could to make sure it was an enjoyable and memorable experience for all of us. They were a very class act all the way through and I guarantee that the next time I’m in the area, I won’t bother with any other dive shop. I’ll go straight to Dive Aventuras and enjoy their hospitality.
