We visited in July 2004 (I know I am late writing this journal), and it was hot but not unbearable. I called the resort directly several weeks before we arrived with some specific requests - close to pool, first floor, non-smoking (child has asthma), and baby requests (crib). They delivered on each and every request. They have gas grills located outside the fenced-in pool area, which is a treat instead of having to purchase charcoal. We found that we grilled more than we normally would because of this convenience (less mess and quicker). I wish more resorts would do this. The outdoor swimming area had a volleyball net in the pool, which was always being used and promoted lots of interaction with other guests. They also had a ping-pong table poolside, which was great. They had lots of scheduled activities for both kids and adults.
We traveled with our three kids (one was 2½ months old) and my sister, her husband, and their two kids. We all had a fabulous time, and this was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had.
The unit was very spacious, well maintained, and stocked with amenities. It was very nice to have two kitchens (one was a mini-kitchen and the other one was a full kitchen). Very nicely decorated and quiet. We did not hear any other guests in their units.
The area has lots to do, even if you do not want to go to any shows. Table Rock Lake is huge and wonderful to visit. We rented a boat for the afternoon and had a great time. The Fish Hatchery was a good spot for children, and Riding the Ducks is a must for both adults and children. You will have a great selection of restaurants to choose from. The resort provides you sample menus from tons of restaurants, so you can review them in the comfort of your unit and then make a decision.
If you are thinking about visiting Branson, MO, I highly suggest that you stay at this resort. We toured other resorts in the area when we were there and did not see anything better. You will have a wonderful time.

Shows of all kinds: - Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede (dinner and "horse show"; Yakov (comedian); Dino (pianist); Duttons (family of musicians); and on and on, magic, music, comedy...
Table Rock Lake, rent a boat or jet ski from one of the many marinas or just relax in one of the coves on an air matress or inner tube. Fishing by boat on Table Rock Lake or off the bank at Lake Taneycomo nearby. Best Things About the Resort: I loved the rooms! Spacious with a full kitchen. The bedroom connected right to the bathroom which was also spacious and had a whirlpool tub. They had a apartment size washer and dryers in each unit. We had everything we needed for the week. The staff was also very kind and helpful. If you needed something you just had to ask. Resort Experience: I already stated how wonderful the rooms were. We didn't feel like anything lacked in the accomodations. The resort also had a variety of activities available for the whole family--pool, volleyball, tournament, golf putting game, spaghetti dinner, ice cream social. They have a pool table and some video games inside the club house. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and outside hot tub that fits several people at one time. We stayed in a building right next to the pool so we could sit on our back, screened-in patio and watch our children swim or play shuffleboard. They also have a pavilion with gas grills so you can barbeque. Even the grilling utensils were available at the club house. We will definitely be going back!

There was a game room which wasn't very big. It did have a pool table and some video games and a pinball machine.
The grounds were maintained really well also. There was a pool three to five feet deep, a kiddie pool and a hot tub. There is an indoor pool next to these. It also had a hot tub. They also had onsite entertainment.
