Visiting Innsbruck

Innsbruck’s popularity has surged since it hosted the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976, and today this en vogue Austrian town attracts more North American visitors than any other European ski destination. Comparable to Aspen, Colorado, in terms of terrain, Innsbruck has some of the best mountain runs in the Tirol region. When they’re not flying down the Alps, exhausted skiers head to Innsbruck’s Old Town for its charming shops, spirited nightlife, and gourmet restaurants.
