Flowers and Peace for All!

The BBG is a treasure in a treasure. Prospect Park is great for getting outside, running, biking, and I like it a lot, but the Garden is even more special. I go in every season, and can't pick which one I would recommend as a best time to visit.

I especially like it here because you can spend an hour or nearly a day. It would make a great spot to pack some lunch after exploring the rock garden, the edible garden, the huge rose collection, the big Japanese pond and the many large greenhouses.

Most excitingly, the Garden is free to all in the winter, and that's when it is awesome to get in from the nasty coldness and spend some time in a tropical greenhouse!
