The Globus was very friendly. The rooms were a bit tight and the bathroom was tiny, but the staff was always kind and helpful. The location was good, about six or seven blocks north of the Duomo. I shared the hotel with about two dozen chirping high school students from France, which was interesting... Breakfast was served in a private dining room each morning. My biggest complaints about the room was the noise (mopeds at night, carts headed to the market in the morning, and the EXTREMELY LOUD bells of the Medici Chapel next door) and the weird 'adult comic books' in my dresser. What was that all about???
