This favorite of families sports a powerful surf spot just north of the main public area called Gas Chambers, but the reliability of the break is not great. Crashboat itself offers a few yards of shallow water on both sides of a walkable pier. The pier juts out about 20 meters out into the Mona Passage, but it's broken from an apparent tidal wave that broke it. Nevertheless, it's usable as a diving platform into deeper water. Weak swimmers beware: the current here can be a little strong.
