Just got back...was as advertised in many reviews. Food is not as bad as people are saying, sometimes you have to realize you are at a buffet in another country, and the humidity is high! You can always find something that is tasty and plentiful...TIP: stick to chicken and pork...beef not so good....Mexican theme night was very good at the walk up taco cook. Reservation restaurant is OK as well...worth the effort at least once...they only have 2 menus every other night. Iguana cafe is great for lunch. Rooms were clean and nice....again it is in the humid Caribbean....the room WILL smell a little musty...was cleaned very well every day by a very nice old lady! I have stayed at 5 star in St. Martin, and it had the same odor initially...you get used to it with in a minute. AC worked great...ran full speed 7 nights, never missed a beat!! The staff is wonderful and friendly. Buenos Dias and Hola all the time everywhere. separate pool for adults is a huge bonus....just tell the desk if kids are swimming around the pool bar, and security takes care of it from there. The adults may get mad sometimes, but heck if you want to get your drunk on with your kids bugging people, maybe you have another problem!!! 3-6 is quality time at the pool bar!! The "been there a few days already" crowd will welcome you in and ask where you are from.......and go from there. We had a couples massage the last day, and it was heavenly. Highly recommend that for your last day.....beach is nice, and snorkling right next door is awesome....enjoy it!!!
