We had high expectations of the Fairmount Chateau Frontenac. But our experience there far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived on a busy day. The doorman and bellmen were so helpful and even though there were dozens of guests arriving made us feel like we our arrival was important to them. The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept in. Everything was so clean and well maintained. It had the feel of history to it but was up to date. Of course the building was breathtaking and walking on the prominade was fun and exciting with amazing views of the river and the town below. We will remember our time at the Chateau fondly and we hope to return.
